The Saudi-led coalition supporting Yemen’s internationally recognised government has announced the destruction of three missile launchers used by the Houthi movement, warning that attacks targeting civilians and civilian infrastructure in Saudi Arabia will be met with a firm response.

Coalition spokesperson Major General Turki Al-Maliki said on Friday that the three missile launchers were destroyed in strikes carried out at separate locations on Thursday, October 8.

In a statement, Al-Maliki warned that Houthi attacks against civilians and civilian infrastructure would not go unanswered.

The announcement comes amid a sharp escalation in cross-border hostilities, with the Houthis launching repeated attacks against Saudi territory, including targets linked to civilian aviation. Saudi Gazette
